ANCHORAGE
Come join the “Annual Anchorage July 4th Celebration” at Delaney Park Strip! Get up early for a hearty pancake breakfast, starting at 8am. Next at 11am, is the 4th of July Parade, and the festival is soon after, from 12-6pm. Click here to learn more.
North of Eagle River, the Chugiak Fourth of July Parade will start at 2pm, at the Latimer fire station on the Old Glenn Highway, and finish at the Chugiak Senior Center. Make sure to bring a sack to collect all the candy that will be thrown out at the event! Click here to learn more.
FAIRBANKS
Come celebrate the 4th of July Ceremony at Pioneer Park, at the S.S. Nenana. Festivities start at noon. Enjoy this patriotic salute to our nation’s independence! Click here to learn more.
JUNEAU
This year’s 4th of July Parade theme is “Home of the Brave!” The parade will start at 11am, and begin at Egan Drive, on the mountain side. Click here to learn more.
KENAI PENINSULA
Stay up late in Seward, and ring in our Nation’s Independence at 12:01am with a firework show! But make sure to get a good night’s rest, because Mount Marathon is in the morning. It is the 100th anniversary of the marathon, and Senator Murkowski will be there to fire the starting gun for the women’s race! The event will start at 10am in Downtown Seward, with the race heading to the top of the mountain and back. Click here to learn more.
In Kenai, the 4th of July Parade starts at 11am, and will include a special presentation to honor our hometown heroes! Afterwards, the festivities start at 12pm, and includes a Kids Carnival, various vendors, and Beer Garden sponsored by Kassik’s Brewery. The Senator will also be attending Twin Cities Raceway Park’s dirt track races at 5pm! Click here to learn more about the parade.
MAT-SU VALLEY
